BG man arrested for reportedly spitting in face of caretaker and face of police officer

A Bowling Green man was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly spitting in the face of a group home caretaker and in the face of a police officer.

Police were called to a group home in the 100 block of Ada Avenue after Joshua Kline, 21, reportedly took the caretaker’s keys and spit on her. Kline reportedly told police that the caretaker left her car keys at home. He allegedly admitted spitting in her face.

When police told Kline he was being arrested, Kline reportedly spit in an officer’s face. He was charged with assault, harassment with a bodily substance and resisting arrest. He was taken to Wood County Jail.
