BG man faces multiple sex charges & practicing medicine without a license

A Bowling Green man has been indicted by a Wood County Grand Jury for five counts including sexual battery and practicing medicine without a license.

William Van Robison, 68, was indicted by the grand jury on Oct. 7 for the following charges, all reportedly occurring between June 1, 2015 and Dec. 31, 2017:

  • Two counts of sexual battery, felonies of the third degree. In each case, Robison is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with another, not his spouse, when he knew that the person’s ability to appraise the nature of or control her conduct was substantially impaired.
  • One count of gross sexual imposition, a felony of the fourth degree. Robison is accused of causing another, not his spouse, to have sexual contact with him when he purposely compelled the person to submit by force or threat of force.
  • One count of sexual imposition, a misdemeanor of the third degree. He reportedly had sexual contact with another person, not his spouse, knowing that the sexual contact was offensive to the other person, or was reckless in that regard.
  • One count of practicing medicine without a license, a fifth degree felony. Robison is accused of practicing medicine without the appropriate license or certificate from the state medical board, or to have practiced medicine after his license or certificate was revoked.

Robison operated Myo-fit pain management, in the 100 block of North Main Street.

His first court appearance is set for Oct. 22, at 1 p.m., in Wood County Common Pleas Court, in front of Judge Joel Kuhlman.
