The Bowling Green Memorial Day Observance Committee is seeking community units to march in the Memorial Day Parade to be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 29.
Being sought are veteran groups, scouting groups and other groups offering patriotic tribute to veterans. Also needed are convertibles to transport veterans needing assistance.
The parade will form at the Bowling Green Post Office at 9:30 a.m., will step off at 10 a.m., and will conclude with a ceremony at Oak Grove Cemetery.
