BG Parks & Recreation seeks public input for five-year master plan

From CITY OF BOWLING GREEN

The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department is seeking input from citizens as it prepares the city’s next Parks & Recreation Master Plan. The master plan is a comprehensive five-year blueprint for facilities, parks, and programming, shaped by community input.

Representatives from Brandstetter Carroll, the firm contracted to survey and collect data for the master plan, will be present at upcoming events to speak with community members and gather their thoughts.

In-person public input opportunities:

  • July 8 – 65th annual pet show
  • July 12 – Concert in the Park
  • July 24 – Lunch in the Park
  • July 25 – Flora, Fauna, and Festival event

In addition, a recreation needs survey will be distributed for community participation in the coming weeks. The survey can be accessed digitally or in paper form.
