Three more teenagers have been arrested for allegedly spray painting vehicles and buildings in Bowling Green.
The boys, all 14 years old and all from Bowling Green, were charged with criminal damaging and lodged in the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center.
Two other boys, age 15, had already been arrested on Saturday and charged with spray painting property.
Police got the initial reports about green spray paint on downtown buildings and cars on New Year’s Day. Some of the painting was of obscene language or images.
Then early on Saturday morning, police officers responded to the 300 block of Pearl Street after getting a report of a vehicle in the driveway that had been spray painted with gold paint.
Officers also located several other locations that had been painted with gold colored paint along Pearl Street.
While conducting their investigation, officers were able to identify the five juveniles who were involved in the spray paint incidents from Saturday and from the reports on New Year’s Day.
