BG Police arrest man for banging on front door of home in middle of the night

Bowling Green Police Division responded to a call about an unknown male banging on the front door of a house in the 400 block of Conneaut Avenue, Saturday around 2 a.m.

After a foot chase through back yards, police arrested Andrew Moore, 19, of St. Marys, for alleged attempted burglary, furnishing false information to obtain alcohol, obstructing official business, and underage under the influence. He was taken to Wood County Jail.

Moore, who initially gave police a fake ID, reportedly denied banging on the front door of the house. However, the residents provided police with Ring doorbell footage of Moore pounding on the door and yelling for help. The residents also reported to police that each pane of glass in the door window had been broken.
