Bowling Green Police arrested two Sylvania men for their role in a fight downtown Sunday around 1:30 a.m.

Harrison McBean, 22, was charged with assault, and Maximus Baumann, 19, was charged with disorderly conduct-fighting.

Police officers on East Court Street were flagged down to the parking lot behind the 100 block of North Main Street.

One male victim had a bloody nose, lip and elbow. And a 61-year-old woman, from Hinckley, was taken to Wood County Hospital after she was knocked over by those fighting.

The male victim said he had been in a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street when McBean and his friends began harassing him over a female. The men were kicked out of the bar, with the victim going out the back door and the others out the front door.

McBean and Baumann reportedly encountered the victim behind the bar and a physical fight ensued.

During the fight, the 61-year-old woman was knocked to the ground. She was taken to the hospital by her husband and brother-in-law, reportedly for a dislocated shoulder.

Downtown video footage viewed by police reportedly showed McBean punch the victim while he was backing away. The video also showed the woman being pushed into a parked vehicle. The footage also reportedly showed Baumann fighting with the male victim.
