Bowling Green Police arrested a Toledo man for fighting and resisting arrest Sunday morning in the 200 block of North Main Street. Santos Arriaga, 21, was taken to the Wood County Jail.
Officers were in the 100 block of North Main around 12:20 a.m., when they heard yelling near a parking lot in the next block.
When they arrived at the scene, Arriaga was reportedly on top of another male. As an officer pulled him off the other man and tried to handcuff him, Arriaga reportedly resisted repeatedly.
The other man involved said he challenged Arriaga after he reportedly saw Arriaga shove a woman to the ground. The woman reportedly agreed with the man’s statement and video from the scene confirmed the reports.
