BG Police arrest Weston man for domestic violence

Bowling Green Police arrested a man for domestic violence in the 300 block of South Prospect Street on Monday around 4:13 a.m.

James Jividen, 33, Weston, was taken to Wood County Jail.

Police were called after a resident said she got home from work and found Jividen intoxicated and playing a video game. He reportedly got mad at the video game and threw the controller at the TV, breaking it.

Jividen reportedly began punching the woman and put her in a headlock. She reportedly hit him in the head with a small mirror, then he reportedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen and asked if she wanted to hit him again.

After the woman called 911, Jividen left the house. Police found him running southbound on South Prospect Street, near Lehman Avenue.
