BG Police arrest woman for assault and criminal damaging

Bowling Green Police Division arrested a Perrysburg woman for two counts of assault and criminal damaging at a bar on State Street.

Police responded to the bar for a report of a fight on Thursday at 10:45 p.m. between Robin Lantz, 36, and bar staff supported by multiple other customers.

Several bar patrons and staff reported to police that Lantz was being rude, and had been asked to leave. She reportedly began yelling obscenities, and patrons of the bar began to intervene to help staff.

Bar staff and patrons reportedly escorted Lantz out of the bar. Once outside, Lantz allegedly knocked over and damaged a barrier that surrounded the outdoor seating area.

Lantz reportedly tried to get back in the bar, and allegedly struck a bar employee’s face. Bar customers intervened, with one reportedly taking Lantz to the ground. Lantz reportedly struck the man in the face, causing his glasses to break.

Lantz was taken to Wood County Jail.
