BG Police charge Toledo man with theft, criminal trespassing and resisting arrest

Bowling Green Police arrested a Toledo man Monday, around 3:10 a.m., after he reportedly walked into an apartment in the 200 block of East Wooster Street and walked out with a set of keys.

Tyler O’Neil, 24, was charged with theft, criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.

Residents of the apartment told police that the man walked into the home with a group of people, grabbed the keys and left. Police located O’Neil in the 100 block of South Summit Street, where he reportedly walked around a house. O’Neil allegedly refused to follow instructions by the police and tried to break free from an officer.

The resident on South Summit asked that O’Neil be charged with criminal trespassing. He was taken to the Wood County Jail.
