Bowling Green Police arrested a man for felony domestic violence after he allegedly choked a woman at an apartment in the 1600 block of Juniper Drive.
Police received a call from the woman’s mother on Wednesday morning, stating that her daughter had been assaulted and was locked inside a bathroom with her two children.
James Stuckey, 24, reportedly told police that he thought the woman was going to hit him. But she did not. He reportedly told police he put his hand on her throat, but he wasn’t sure if he squeezed her throat.
The woman and children were still locked in the bathroom when police arrived. She told police Stuckey had grabbed her around the throat and pushed her against a cabinet. She said he squeezed her throat to the point she almost passed out.
Stuckey was arrested for felony domestic violence since he had a prior domestic violence conviction. He was taken to the Wood County Jail.
