BG Police investigate damage to shelter house tables in City Park

Hoffman Shelter in City Park

Bowling Green Police were called to City Park, 520 Conneaut Ave., on Saturday, after a city parks and recreation employee reported damage at two of the shelter houses.

In the Hoffman Shelter, carvings on a picnic table said “Die” and the name “Myah.” There were also multiple penises drawn on the picnic tables, and “Love” was written in the shape of a heart.

In the Stone Shelter, the name “Alicia” with a heart at the end was written on a picnic table and on the stone with a Sharpie type marker.
