A Bowling Green woman was arrested for domestic violence shortly after midnight today, for allegedly punching a man in the face.

Aylisia Gordon, 31, was taken to Wood County Jail.

Police were called to an apartment in the 1500 block of East Clough Street, and found a man outside with an eye that was bleeding and swollen. Gordon reportedly admitted hitting the man, but said she felt threatened by him at the time.

She was placed in the back of a police cruiser, where she reportedly began kicking the door and the divider. When police arrived at the jail, Gordon’s forehead was bleeding. She was taken to Wood County Hospital, where the injury was glued and she was medically cleared to go back to the jail.
