BG Police respond to downtown fights, underage possession and marijuana

Bowling Green Police were busy this past weekend responding to calls in the downtown area.

Saturday, around 2:15 a.m., police responded to two men fighting in the Lot 2 parking area. One was given a criminal warning for disorderly conduct/fighting, and the other for disorderly conduct and unable to care for himself due to level of intoxication.

Four men were cited for fighting in a parking lot in the 300 block of East Wooster Street, Sunday around 2:30 a.m. The four were cited for disorderly conduct/fighting.

Police also issued about a dozen tickets for underage possession of alcohol, plus a few citations for possession of marijuana and for open containers of alcohol, according to BGPD Lt. Adam Skaff.
