Bowling Green Police Division responded to three alleged drug overdoses in two separate incidents on Wednesday (July 1).
Around 12:51 a.m., officers were called to a home in the 200 block of Ada Avenue, for a reported overdose. Officers arrived to find a juvenile male walking in the middle of the street, saying, “help me,” and “I’m going to die.”
The teenager said he and another teen had taken “mushrooms.”
Bowling Green Fire Division transported the boys to Wood County Hospital.
Around 3:53 a.m., police were called to a home in the 200 block of South Summit Street for a suspected overdose.
Officers found an unresponsive male sitting upright on the couch. His wife reported he had taken large doses of her prescription drugs.
Bowling Green Fire Division transported the man to Mercy Hospital in Perrysburg.
