Bowling Green Police responded to a report of a man outside a home in the 200 block of Palmer Avenue, taking photographs on his phone of a woman taking a shower inside.
The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday shortly after 11 p.m. The woman described the suspect as a taller white male with curly hair, wearing a dark colored shirt and jeans.
A couple out for a walk at the time told police they observed a man slowly “slink” away from the side of the home on Palmer Avenue. They described him as a taller man with shaggy curly hair, wearing long pants.
Officers stopped a few people in the area, but none were identified by the residents of the Palmer Avenue home.
A bit later, the residents called police again to report that the man returned outside the house. Police stopped the man, who matched the description, except was wearing shorts. The man told police he was out for his nightly walk. He said he was afraid because people were chasing him, and he thought he was going to be mugged.
The possible suspect, who lives in the area, said his flip phone was at his home. Officers checked the area to see if a cell phone was left anywhere. The man consented to officers transporting him back to his residence to look in his phone. The most recent photo on the phone was taken in June.
An extra patrol was placed on the Palmer Avenue home.
