Bowling Green Police arrested an employee Monday evening after he allegedly pulled a knife on the general manager of a downtown restaurant where he worked as a server.
Drew Rowe, 29, was charged with aggravated menacing.
Police were called to the restaurant after Rowe reportedly confronted the manager and told her he hoped “she would rot in hell” after she poured water and brought a box to customers at a table he was serving. The manager told Rowe to leave, but he reportedly refused to leave without getting his pay.
The general manager was called, and when he arrived in the parking lot behind the restaurant, he confronted Rowe, who reportedly pulled out a knife. The general manager said Rowe did not make any threats while holding the knife.
Police found the knife in the parking lot behind the restaurant.
