BGSU Men’s Chorus to celebrate 50 years of song

The BGSU Men’s Chorus will celebrate its 50th anniversary Saturday, April 9, at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall.

The current chorus and a special alumni chorus will pay tribute to the ensemble’s traditions that have developed since its founding in fall 1971.

The founding conductor Richard Mathey will return to conduct the alumni chorus. He will be assisted by Benjamin Ayling, a former member of the chorus both as an undergraduate and graduate student.

The current chorus is conducted by Richard Schnipke.

The deadline for alumni to participate is April 7. Click to register.

Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here. Free admission for BGSU students with ID card at the door. This concert will also be live streamed.
