In its first full week of the spring semester, Bowling Green State University is reporting 211 cases of COVID.
Of those, 111 are confirmed, and 100 are from self-administered tests that have not been confirmed.
Students account for 191 cases, with 132 living off-campus and 52 living on campus. Four faculty members and 16 staff members have tested positive.
Fourteen students are isolated in on-campus housing.
Last week for a two-day period, BGSU reported 131 cases.
The percentage of people in compliance with the university’s vaccine mandate has ticked up.
Among all students, 80.3 percent are vaccinated and 15.5 percent have received exemptions, with 4.2 percent still not in compliance. Last week 6.9 percent were not in compliance. Only 0.8 percent of residential students are not in compliance. Last week it was 0.9 percent.
Among faculty and staff, 90.6 percent have been vaccinated, 6.3 percent have received exemptions, and 3.1 are not in compliance.
