A 1-year-old lab mix, called Bo, came to the Wood County Dog Shelter after being found in Northwood as a stray.
He is a sweet dog, but can be nervous when he meets new people. Bo is looking for a patient home that will show him the world is not as scary as he thinks it is. He does well with the other dogs at the shelter. And once he gets to know you, he will crawl in your lap and be a “super love bug,” according to Wood County Dog Warden Jodi Harding.
The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, phone 419-354-9242.
The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed. The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The shelter is closed on Sundays.
