Brice O’Daniel, 84, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away, Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Wauseon, Ohio.
Brice was born on December 24, 1932 in Elkton, Kentucky to the late Cleveland and Ella C. O’Daniel. He married Mae O’Daniel on April 27, 1968 and she preceded him in death in April of 2007.
Brice worked for over 37 years as a Service Technician for IBM, during his career at IBM Brice, who had a passion for motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson, was a business partner at the original Harley Davidson Dealership in Napoleon, Ohio.
Brice had numerous hobbies, he loved being outdoors and going to the Oak Openings Nature Preserve, he loved hunting and going mushroom hunting as well. Brice was an avid collector and loved going to auctions, where he became a familiar face at numerous auctions, especially at the Whalen Auction House in which Mr. John Whalen knew if he had issues getting a starting bid that all he needed to do was to look out and see Brice’s face and he knew he would get a starting bid from Brice.
Brice is survived by his son: Steven (Shelley) O’Daniel, of Noblesville, Indiana; step-daughters: Pam Bryant, of Liberty Center, Ohio; Karen (Larry) Cymbola, of Azalia, Michigan; stepsons: Randy (Helen) McClure, of Liberty Center, Ohio; John (Deb) McClure, of Grand Rapids, Ohio, along with a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom were Brice’s pride and joy. Along with his parents and wife, Brice was preceded in death by a daughter: Brenda Blose and a son in law: Jim Bryant.
Visitation for Brice will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM in the WRIGHT-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 302 E. Maple Street, Liberty Center, Ohio/P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Tele: 419-533-2471. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home, with Interment following in the Young Cemetery, Liberty Center, Ohio.
