A candidates forum will be held on Sunday, Oct. 6, at First United Methodist Church, 1526 E. Wooster St. in Bowling Green. This is an opportunity to meet the candidates running for Bowling Green School Board and Bowling Green City Council and to ask them questions.
The formal program runs from 7-9 p.m. and features the school board candidates and the candidates for third and fourth ward seats on City Council.
Candidates running unopposed for BG mayor and other city council seats will be in attendance beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will be information on the Bowling Green City Schools ballot issue.
The candidates forum is co-sponsored by League of Women Voters of Bowling Green, American Association of University Women, Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, and BGSU Retirees Association.
