The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Business Council is now accepting nominations for two annual awards: The Outstanding Customer Service Award and the Small Business of the Year Award.
Each year, the Chamber recognizes businesses and individuals in our community who help to make Bowling Green a wonderful place to work and live.
Winners will be announced and recognized at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting Dinner and Awards ceremony on Saturday, May 3.
Outstanding Customer Service
The Outstanding Customer Service Award honors a local business that provides exceptional customer service to all their patrons. Through this award, the Chamber seeks to publicly promote, showcase, and congratulate those businesses who are excelling in customer service, and to maintain and strengthen Bowling Green businesses (including for-profits and non-profits) as outstanding providers of quality customer service.
Small Business of the Year
The Small Business of the Year Award honors Chamber Investors that demonstrate achievement in management and workplace excellence, product innovation, and community or social responsibility.
With this award, the Chamber wants to acknowledge publicly the vital contributions made by area companies to business growth in Bowling Green, and to illustrate the depth of talent that exists in the Bowling Green business community by highlighting nominees’ success stories.
The Outstanding Customer Service and Small Business of the Year awards have online submissions open at www.bgchamber.net/applications under the “Award Nominations, Event Applications, & Guidelines” tab.
Additional criteria for nominations are listed within the online forms. Multiple nominations / testimonials will be accepted and are encouraged, but the award will be based on the quality of the testimonials, not quantity.
These awards have a nomination deadline of 5 p.m. on Jan. 31. Nominees will be sent a questionnaire to fill out and return no later than 5 p.m. on March 7, 2025, and the recipient will be decided at the regular Business Council meeting on March 18 th , 2025.
