Cherie (Sheline) Navarro

Cherie (Sheline) Navarro, 67, of Dunbridge, Ohio passed away Tuesday January 31, 2017.
Cherie was born in Hancock County, Ohio to the late John Russell and Olma Eileen (Meeker) Slater. She married Carl Navarro and he survives in Dunbridge, Ohio. Cherie is also survived by her son: Andrew Sheline of San Antonio, Texas; sister: Sheila (Gary) Slater-Romero of Bowling Green; brothers: Scott Slater of Temperance, Michigan and Eric Slater of Bowling Green; four grandchildren: Ashley Woodruff, Adam, Chelsie and Mason Sheline and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Toby Sheline and her brother Kevin Slater.

Cherie was a Registered Nurse for Wood County MRDD and enjoyed traveling, especially to the Lake Erie islands, the ocean,  and her trip to Hawaii. Cherie loved listening to music and was a member of the Eagles #2180 and VFW #1148.  Cherie’s true love was her family and friends, and her annual Hat and Poker Party.

A Celebration and Crazy Hat Party will be on Sunday February 5, 2017 from 1:00-5:00 PM at the Eagles #2180, 1163 N. Main St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
