From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY
Readers of all ages can explore and learn as the Wood County District Public Library presents the Summer Reading Program for 2025, Color Our World! The kick-off for Summer Reading Program will be on Saturday, May 31. Registration for Summer Reading Program also begins on May 31.
Readers can join the library for a variety of activities this summer. They can track how many books they read and get rewarded with great prizes, create something new with fun programs and join in on early literacy and ways to learn together.
On May 31, patrons can register for Summer Reading Program, collect their registration prizes and visit the library for lots of fun events throughout the day.
Chalk artist David Zinn will create a unique chalk mural at 10 a.m., and weather permitting, visitors can enjoy bubbles and chalk. Then, from 1-4 p.m., they can stop by the library to register and collect their registration prizes.
Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prize drawings, storytimes and more. Those who can’t attend the kick-off event, can register online at wcdpl.readsquared.com.
