Columbia Gas of Ohio has provided the City of Bowling Green with the following tentative work schedule. Crews will remain on Main Street, from Clay to East Court Street, through Friday, July 20, and into next week, restoring pavement and sidewalk conditions affected by the installation of the natural gas line.
Once this portion of Main Street has been restored, crews will move onto East Oak restoring pavement and sidewalks within the work zone. Through Tuesday, July 24, East Court Street, from Main to the entrance of City Parking Lot 1, will be closed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Each evening and over the weekend, the street will reopen. Periodic sidewalk closures will be required throughout the area in order restore pavement and sidewalks affected by the installation of the natural gas line.
From Monday, July 23, through Friday, July 27, the western most parking spaces within City Parking Lot 1 (closest to Main Street) will be marked no parking. This is required for the installation of the gas main off of Court Street. The remainder of the parking lot will remain open and accessible.
