This performance will be the last official concert led by BGACB’s director, Thom Headley. Headley has been a cornerstone of the bands since their founding in 2007, first as assistant director and then taking the director’s baton in 2011.

The dedication Headley pours into every concert is a testament to his commitment to the band. While the musicians will certainly miss his leadership, they’re not saying goodbye for good – they eagerly anticipate seeing him back in his familiar spot in the French horn section at Monday’s rehearsal.

A cookie reception for Headley will be held after the concert in the Performing Arts Center lobby.
