Bowling Green Police responded this morning to a construction site in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue for a reported assault. The incident began when two co-workers reportedly got into an argument over who was better at grading gravel and cement.

The victim said Jason Arnold, 33, of Toledo, got in his face, so he pushed Arnold. Arnold then reportedly headbutted the victim with his hard hat on, then punched him once in the face, knocking out his front tooth. The victim had blood on his coat and mouth.

Arnold was contacted by phone and reportedly admitted to police that he argued with his co-worker, but said he just “grazed” his co-worker’s shoulder during the argument.

Arnold was cited for assault.
