The Country Garden Club of Perrysburg will host its 34th annual Trunk Show, “Shopping for a Cause,” on Oct. 5 and 6 at the Carranor Hunt and Polo Club, located at 502 E. Second St. in Perrysburg.
The Trunk Show features unique boutiques with vendors traveling from as far away as California, New York, and Washington, D.C. Items available to purchase will include clothing, jewelry, accessories for women and men, unique décor for the home, fun eyewear, and more.
The funds raised from the show directly advance the club’s mission to promote the knowledge of horticulture and conservation and to enhance the community’s natural environment.
The club accomplishes this through education and outreach, volunteer work, and community projects in the local area. The Black Swamp Conservancy, Slippery Elm Trail, Wood County Parks and The Cocoon Shelter have been some of the many community projects.
Show hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, and from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6. Admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or on the website. For more information, visit the website and Facebook page at cgcperrysburg.com.
