Darlene R. Peters-Hall, 93, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Friday December 8, 2017. She was born April 20, 1924 in Monclova, Ohio to Ross and Audrey Peters. She married Leonard A. Hall on November 29, 1946 and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2002.
Darlene enjoyed sewing, playing Bingo, looking at Christmas lights, watching deer and cheering on the BGSU Men’s basketball team. She was a former member of the Eastern Stars and loved her job as a recess monitor at the elementary school. Her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her grandchildren. She especially loved cooking for her family.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy (John) Wade of Bowling Green, Ohio and Terry (Kenneth) Heath of Coldwater, Michigan; sons Michael Hall of Cygnet, Ohio and Mikey (Sherry) Hall of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren Dawn (Jack) Musson, Elizabeth (Michael) McIntosh and Allison (Jon) Nickey; great-grandchildren Jack, Baylie, Madison, Camden, Eli, Addison, Ella and Mason. Along with her husband Leonard, Darlene was preceded in death by her sisters Evelyn Dohr and Dorothy Keller.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday December 12, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Pastor Melanie Haack will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the BGSU Men’s Basketball Team.
