David C. Showell, 40, of Bowling Green, Ohio and formerly of Tucson, Arizona passed away Thursday October 10, 2019. He was born April 13, 1979 in Tucson, Arizona to Jeffrey and Denise (Tritchel) Showell.
Dave was a case manager at Ohio treatment Center in North Baltimore, Ohio. He was always up for an adventure and loved traveling, camping and off-roading. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and coaching his sons in little league baseball. His greatest joy in life came from the time he spent with his sons.
He is survived by his parents Jeffrey and Denise Showell of Bowling Green, Ohio, sons Benjamin and Christopher Showell of El Paso, Texas, brother Doug (Lydia) Showell of Beavercreek, Ohio and sister Whitney (Justin) Trautman of Tiffin, Ohio. He is also survived by his grandmothers Terry Tritchel and Penny Showell and nieces and nephews Joseph, Reese and Beckham.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Richard Tritchel and John Showell.
Dave’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at Noon at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Pastor Deb Conklin will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Noon.
