As Chair of the Wood County Democrats, I never thought I would urge voters to listen to the advice of Republicans like Betty Montgomery, Bob Taft, John Kasich, and Jim Petro. But when it comes to figuring out how to vote on August 8th, you should join them and myself in Voting NO.
This proposed constitutional amendment reduces citizen power; all living former elected Governors and Attorneys General, both Republicans and Democrats, agree that putting such an important issue on an August special election is a bad move. In times of heightened political polarization, it is heartening to see good people of both parties join together to fight to protect Ohio’s democracy. Join the bipartisan movement in voting NO on August 8th.
