As a longtime educator, I take a great deal of pleasure in watching my former students become leaders who direct their talents toward improving their communities, particularly the education of our young people. One of my most outstanding former students is Norm Geer, current President of the Bowling Green Board of Education.
A lifelong resident of Bowling Green, Norm is deeply committed to our school system and to the students it serves. He wants to provide exceptional educational experiences for all students, and toward that end, he listens to all points of view, evaluates impartially, and seeks fair solutions to any problems that may arise.
Norm has the experience of having served on the Board for several years and is, therefore, familiar with issues it currently faces as well as opportunities that lie ahead.
