Donna Tampurages, 88, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Monday April 10, 2017.
Donna was born in Milton Center, Ohio to the late Ellsworth and Edna (Ellis) Christy. She married James Tampurages and he preceded her in death. Donna is survived by her children: William (Vicki) Tampurages and Tina Tampurages of Bowling Green, Terry Tampurages of Bowling Green and Sandy (Craig) Garber of Weston; grandchildren: Andrea Pearce, Stacey Dalman, Michael Tampurages, Amy Tambouratzis and Bryce Garber and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters Dorotha Self and Alice Akers and a brother James Christy.
Donna was a graduate of Weston High School and served on their alumni committee. She was a member of the Sonlight Assembly of God Church in Weston and was also a member of the Red Hats Society. Donna enjoyed bowling at Varsity Lanes in Bowling Green where she bowled in the Ladies League as well as at Al-mar in the mixed doubles league. Donna loved reading, and traveling with her children. She was a collector of dolls.
Visitation for Donna will be on Wednesday April 12, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., P.O Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Donna’s Funeral Service will be on Thursday April 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Sonlight Assembly of God Church, 19920 Sand Ridge Rd, Weston, Ohio 43569. Interment will follow in the Wood County Memory Gardens.
