The contractor working on the downtown reconstruction project has begun making the necessary adjustments to manholes and utility valve boxes within the downtown. This portion of the project will begin by coring out the asphalt around manholes and utility boxes and then pouring concrete collars.
It is anticipated that this work will last through this week and in to next week. This will occur first on Main Street and then Wooster Street. Impacts to the traffic flow as well as intermittent removal of parking will occur.
