The Eastwood FFA held its annual Chicken BBQ this fall. The entire chapter and family members from the community took time out of their day to make this a successful event.
FFA members Logan Brinker, Logan McBride, and Tanner King took time out of their school day and came out to the BBQ during their free periods to help prep and cook the meals. They started cooking at 9 a.m. and wrapped it up about 6 p.m.
The chapter sold 1,100 meals. After all the meals were picked up, members and families stayed to help clean up and put everything away.
The overall success from this BBQ helps the chapter support members for Career Development Events, trips to National FFA and State FFA conventions and all other FFA activities throughout FFA.
