Firefly Nights is bringing back the features that proved such a hit at the June event. The summer festival returns Friday, July 19, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in downtown Bowling Green delivering end to end fun.
All this made possible by a crew of volunteers with financial support by festival sponsors.

There will be a bounce house on the south end and on the north end a bungee trampoline.
In between the cast of characters from Glovation, magicians, and Freddy and Freddie will prowl the streets delighting attendees.
There will be a host of vendors.
BGSU will provide hands-on experiences — musical instruments from the Falcon Marching band and amphibians from the BGSU Department of Biological Science. Nature’s Nursery will also have some wildlife anbassadors on view.
Snook’s Dream Cars will have classic vehicles on display.
Music on the south end Speed of Sound will be spinning tracks and at the parking with the Black Swamp mural Ryan Brown will perform from 6:30-7:30 p.m. followed by Ordway, 8-9:30 p.m.
Nearby will be street games including cornhole as well as chalk and bubbles.
Crafts activities will at both ends of the street.
Food rucks will be located in the Huntington Bank parking lot at the corner of Clough and South Main. On tap for this Friday are: Baba’s Eats, Denise’s Nuts, Detroit Mini Donut, Fatboyz Chicken by Al an Zoe, Hot Dawg Hut, Jonny Burritos, Kabob It, Leaf an See, Manny’s Munchies. Smyles Icy Treats. Susie Lynne’s Lemonade, Trip’n Biscuits, and the Wailing Onion.
And making all this possible is a crew of volunteers. The festival is still in need of volunteers, especially for set up and teardown. Teardown volunteers will receive $20 in Downtown Dollars.
