The first baby of the new year at Wood County Hospital arrived Monday, at 6:04 a.m., to parents Alexis Losek and Dushaun Mothershed, of Bowling Green.
Josiah Lee Mothershed weighed in at 6 pounds 4 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long. He has no siblings.
Losek, his mom, was born at Wood County Hospital in 2001.
The outfit worn by Josiah in the photo from the hospital was made by Amanda Barndt, who is the niece of Lisa Barndt, the director of obstetrical services at Wood County Hospital.
The parents received a gift basket, free hospital footprint, and a special meal made by the hospital dietary staff.
