First Ward BG City Council member issues statement about apartment complex fire

I am devastated and heartbroken tonight following the news about the apartment fire on Parkview Drive near N. Main Street in Bowling Green. My heart goes out to the victims and the person hurt. The fire will be felt by our community for a long time to come. As we continue to learn more about this and what was lost, it is crucial now more than ever for us as a community to show our support for our friends, family and neighbors to uplift and help those affected recover.

I will be keeping an eye on my email and will be monitoring updates as more information develops about what happened today. I welcome the community to share any donation drive information and other ways to support the victims with me so that they can be shared across my social media and be addressed during our upcoming City Council meetings.
