Gary L Rothenbuhler 57, lost his courageous battle with cancer on February 5th 2017. He was born December 18 1959, the son of Paul and Mary Ellen (Bressler) Rothenbuhler. He attended Elmwood High School, where he was known for his baseball talent. Gary was an avid sports fan. You could find him cheering on the Steelers, MudHens, Caveliers, and NASCAR drivers Jeff Gordon and Dale Jr.
Gary married Carol Ramsey on August 22nd 2006. Together they have 17 grandchildren. Family was everything to him. Gary would love when the family would come over for campfires, cookouts, and wagon rides behind the lawn mower. He loved showing off his garden and gnomes. Most recently, Gary enjoyed his day trips with Carol and his sister, Sheryl to the cheese factories and Lake Erie. He enjoyed reminiscing about Fourth of July at the lake cottage.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Carol, children Chrisi (Rod) West, Nick (Alisha) Rothenbuhler, Brittany (Kenny) Smith, Katelyn (Alan) Davis, Amanda Ramsey, and Justin Ramsey, grandchildren Nate, Madison, Mason, Adam, Brooklyn, McKenna, Alex, Meredith, Tyler, Raelynn, Mallorie, Aubrynn, Hailey, Jaxson, James, sister Sheryl (John) Wright, brothers Terry (Debbie) Rothenbuhler and Kerry (Kim) Rothenbuhler and many nieces and nephews, in which he adored.
Gary is proceeded in death by: his parents, late wife Angela Rothenbuhler, brother Larry Rothenbuhler, nephew Matthew Wright, and granddaughters Aliyah Jean Ramsey and McKayla Noel West.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday February 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Rev. Dan Horner will officiate. Visitation will begin Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
