Gerald A. Euler, 75, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, July 21,2019. Gerald was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late David Edwin and Opal Dorothy (Green) Euler on October 7, 1943. He was a graduate of Otsego High School.
Gerald was engaged in farming for his entire life, along with being a truck driver for 57 years. He was a lifelong resident in the Tontogany area, where, in his early years, he served on the board of the Tontogany Elevator. He spent a majority of his trucking career hauling pickles for Bench Farms and Hartung Bros., in addition to hauling fertilizer for The Andersons. He was most content when he was behind the wheel of his semi or one of his tractors. His greatest joy and pride in life was farming with his two sons. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them with their animals. In his later years, he enjoyed taking cruises to the Caribbean with his wife Diane.
Gerald is survived by his wife Diane (Friel) Euler whom he married on January 17, 2005. He is also survived by his three children Cindy (Jaime) Zsembik of Archbold, Scott (Lisa) Euler of Bowling Green, and Shane (Susie) Euler of Bowling Green, as well as, six grandchildren Stefani, Brittany, Hannah, and Blake Euler, Carey Monk, and Taylor Summers. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother David Leslie Euler.
Visitation will take place Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington St. Tontogany, OH. Funeral Services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Tontogany Cemetery.
