Habitat for Humanity of Wood County to hold volunteer orientation on March 21

Habitat for Humanity of Wood County will hold a volunteer orientation on March 21, at 3 p.m., at the Wood County Habitat offices at 326 Industrial Parkway, Suite 1, Bowling Green. 

This short, informational meeting highlights the volunteer opportunities available for the Habitat build season which begins March 28. Habitat for Humanity will be building two homes and renovating two others for families in need of decent and affordable housing in Wood County. 

Those interested in registering are urged to call volunteer coordinator, Heather Henson, at 419-481-8100. Pre-registration is not required to attend.

Habitat for Humanity of Wood County partners with people in Wood County and all over the world to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Since its inception, Habitat for Humanity of Wood County has built 53 homes and completed numerous home repairs.
