The Wood County Emergency Management Agency has issued the following advisory:
A round of heavy rain is expected late Friday night into Saturday morning. Additionally, strong southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts to 55 mph will develop Saturday morning and continue through Saturday evening, diminishing Saturday night. Because of this, Wood County is under a wind advisory from 10a-8pm Saturday. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and as with all wind events, scattered power outages are also possible.
