Erin Konecki, Emergency Management Agency deputy director for Wood County, has issued the following advisory:
The National Weather Service Cleveland upgraded their high wind advisory to a high wind warning. The warning is in effect from 7am to 11pm Wednesday 11/27/2019. They are now anticipating the gusts to reach up to 60mph, downed trees and power lines, and potential for widespread power outages. They again stressed that travel will be difficult, especially in high profile vehicles. Recommended actions are: avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches, secure outdoor loose items, if possible to remain in the lower levels of your home, avoid windows, and use caution if you must drive.
Wanted to make sure you were all aware of the upgrade, stay safe.
