Hospital changes visitation policy

This week the Wood County Hospital changed their visitation policies. The policy  now reverts to what it was before the fall spike in COVID-19 cases.

All visitors must enter at the Outpatient/Emergency Department entrance.

Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All those entering the hospital will sign in and be asked the reason for the visit. Visitors will receive temperature and COVID screening.

Visitors must be 18 or older, and are limited to one person per day.

Visitation to patients with COVID-19 is limited to end of life situations.

Obstetrics will continue to limit visitation to “one designated birth partner.”

Patients coming in for surgical procedures will enter at the Surgery Discharge entrance. If the patient becomes an inpatient, the visitor may accompany the patient to their room.
