Humane society offers cat adoption special

(Submitted by Wood County Humane Society)

Dating back innumerable years, 10,000 to be exact, is the relationship between humans and cats. For 2018, why not start out the new year with a resolution to begin a life-long relationship with a feline friend. The Wood County Humane Society (WCHS) is holding a cat adoption special from Tuesday, Jan. 23, through Thursday, Jan. 25.

All adult cats, six months or older, are available for the special. Potential adopters will draw a coin with fee reductions from values of $45 to having the adoption fee waived.

All of The WCHS adoptable animals have been spayed/neutered, received age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, and have an initial deworming. If you are interested in hearing more about the cat adoption special please check our website at https://www.woodcountyhumanesociety.org or feel free to call the shelter 419-352-7339.

The WCHS, located in Bowling Green, Ohio, is a private, non-profit managed admission shelter providing care for homeless and abused pets and investigating cruelty complaints in Wood County. The organization receives no funding from United Way, or national humane organizations, instead relying on earned revenue and the generosity of individual donors and businesses to fund our programs such as Safe Haven and food assistance programs, spay/neuter transport, and educational presentations. The WCHS provides care for hundreds of animals each year– -from dogs and cats, to horses, goats, and pocket pets. All animals admitted into our adoption program are housed and cared for as long as it takes to find their fur-ever home.
