Isabel Hernandez, 94 of Bowling Green ,Oh passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday October 3, 2017 at the Wood County Hospital.
Isabel was born on July 8, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas. She married Francisco Hernandez and he preceded her in death in 1968.
Isabel is survived by her daughters: Joyce (Edward) Calderon of Bowling Green; Maria (Rey) Casiano of Texas; Lupe Castillo of San Diego; Victoria Melendrez of Bowling Green; Rosie (Juan) Flores of Bowling Green; a son: Joe (Tina) Hernandez of Rudolph; Grandchildren: Eddie, Armando, Kristina, Carlos, Pancha, Francisco, Raul, Lupita, Johnny, Bobby, Anna, Gina, Michael, Alicia and Frank, along with a host of loving great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Isabel was preceded in death by two sons: Paul and Frank Hernandez; two brothers; a granddaughter Lisa. and two great-grandsons: Bradlee and Andrew.
Isabel was a homemaker and loved raising her children and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She loved all types of crafts especially sewing. Isabela enjoyed playing BINGO and completing word search puzzles. Isabel will be dearly missed by her loving family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 South Enterprise Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 with visitation beginning at 9:00 Am in the St. Aloysius Church Narthex. Interment will immediately follow in the Jerry City Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted with the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
