James Lawson Swanson, 58, of Haskins, Ohio passed away June 16, 2019 at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. James was born September 16, 1960 to Dallas Leo and R’minda Lou (Hammond) Swanson in Bowling Green. On March 11, 1983 he married Lennette (Hardy) in Haskins.
James is survived by his wife Lennette, his son Cale (Alicia) Swanson of Tontogany, his daughters Hannah (Josh) Kieffer of Bowling Green, and Erin (Derick Mobus) Swanson of Portage, his grandchildren Bailee, Cole, Peyton, and Logan, his sisters R’minda (Rex) Russell of Perrysburg and Mary Swanson of Haskins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Thursday June 20, 2019 from 3 to 7 pm at the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington St. Tontogany, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Pam Short officiating. In James’ memory donations are encouraged to his family to support the future education of his grandchildren.
