James “Jim Bob” Horine, 73, passed away on March 30, 2023. He was born on July 6, 1949 to the late Ruth and Forrest Horine in Covington, Kentucky.
James was a 1967 graduate of Bowling Green High School and an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He loved to spend his free time gardening, fishing, and rooting for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy (West) Horine; daughters: Shelley (Karen) Horine and Kim Martin; a son, David (Aubrey) Horine; grandchildren: Derek, Kristina, Caden and Olivia; step-children: Emily and Brian Meeks;two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Karolyn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Military Honors will be held on May 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, OH.
